A great opportunity for a talented Junior Sous or Sous Chef to join the team at this iconic restaurant pushing for a Michelin star.
This well-established Restaurant is privately owned by a nationally respected Chef Patron and Wife team, it is located in a small town with excellent rail links from Leeds for anyone that doesn’t drive.
They are looking for a Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef with previous experience of cooking high end tasting menus or A La Carte menus ideally to at least 2 Rosette or above
Both the Chef Patron and the Head Chef feel this is an excellent property for a talented chef to learn new skills and they are happy to train up somebody looking to refine their cooking skills.
As Junior Sous Chef you will be working closely with the Chef Patron, Head Chef and team assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen on a daily basis. As Junior Sous Chef you will need to be able to cover any section and be developing the man management skills required to help train up Commis Chefs and Chef de Parties
Candidates will need to live in the Leeds, Bradford, Keighley or possibly Harrogate area with their own transport if required.
The restaurant operates a 4 ½ day working week normally finishing at 4pm on a Sunday returning to work on Wednesday morning.
Base Salary of £24,000 - £26,000
