Junior Sous Chef Honiton Devon 25k Plus Tips

Junior Sous Chef required for this Superb Country Hotel award winning restaurant

The hotel is part of a small but steadily growing group of luxury hotels that serve modern tasty well sourced ingredients at affordable prices, so this is a good property to join for career development as they do like to promote from within when they can.

As Junior Sous Chef you will be working closely with the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef, assisting with the daily running of the kitchen. You will be given a variety of responsibilities that will go with the position, including mentoring juniors and motivating the team of chefs ensuring that the kitchen is organised and everything is prepped ready for service

The chefs are now working a ‘4 day on 3 day’ off Rota to enable the team to develop a healthy work life balance

There is no live in available for this position so applicant will need to live in the Honiton Sidmouth Exeter or Axminster area with their own transport if required
