Junior Sous Chef required for this superb fast paced Dining Pub restaurant located close to Cambridge serving a wide range of locally sourced ingredients pushing for 3 Rosettes
The menu is created using all fresh seasonal ingredients serving award winning modern European dishes and offers a daily changing 3 choice menu
As Junior Sous Chef you will need previous experience of cooking with all fresh ingredients and have good all-round knowledge and experience. The Head Chef is looking for somebody who will actively take part in everything from ordering to on-going menu development and staff training.
This position might suit a strong Chef de Partie who is looking to step up and take on more responsibility or an existing Junior Sous Chef looking for a fresh challenge
As Junior Sous Chef you will be working closely with the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef, assisting with the daily management of the Kitchen, ensuring that all tasks are delegated out and completed on time to the correct standards, you must have an eye for detail and be keen to push standards further.
This position offers a 1 bedroom self contained studio flat onsite or possibly other accommodation locally if required, but would also suit anyone living in the Newmarket Bury St Edmunds Cambridge or Mildenhall area with their own transport if required
Salary Upto £24,000 (depending upon experience)
