Sous Chef is required for this superb 3 Rosette Country Dining Pub
This is a great opportunity for a Sous Chef to join the brigade led by a Multi Michelin trained Head Chef and Chef Patron so standards and expectations are very high using only the finest seasonal ingredients.
As Sous Chef you will be working as a senior member of the team maintaining the high standards and pushing for more. Contributing ideas to the on-going menu development and assisting with the refinement of dishes.
As Sous Chef part of your duties will be to ensure that all daily prep is allocated and completed in time to the correct standard. At times you will be required to run any given section assisting with the on-going training of the Chef de Parties.
As Sous Chef you will need to have the confidence and ability to run and organise the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, this is a key role in the kitchen and they are Happy to train an existing Sous Chef or a Strong Junior Sous looking for more responsibility.
There is live in available for this position if required but may also suit anyone living in the Chipping Norton, Woodstock, Moreton in Marsh, Stow on the Wold, Burford, Witney possibly Oxford or Cirencester area with their own transport
Excellent Basic Salary upto £25,000 (Depending upon experience)
Equal Share of Staff Tips (normally at least £4000 per year!)
