Sous Chef is required to join the team at this busy Country Dining Pub, working with a recently appointed Head Chef
The Head Chef is looking for a Sous Chef with previous experience of cooking with all fresh ingredients, ideally to Rosette standards, but this is not essential if you can create popular, creative and good looking, tasty, dishes that will happily fit in with their style.
As Sous Chef you will be working closely with the Head Chef on a daily basis, helping to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and that food standards are achieved. The Head Chef is happy to train somebody in kitchen management i.e. costings, ordering, menu writing etc if they have the right attitude and willingness to learn.
Live in is available if required but would also suit anyone living in the Stamford, Peterborough, Spalding, Market Deeping, Grantham, Oakham, Uppingham or Corby area with their own transport.
Base salary of upto £24,000 (depending upon experience)
Equal share of staff tips (approx. £2,000 – £3,000 per year)
28 Days Holiday
