Sous Chef required for this superb fast paced, Gastro Pub Restaurant, located close to Newmarket, serving a wide range of locally sourced ingredients
The menu is created using all fresh, seasonal, ingredients, serving award winning, modern, European dishes.
As Sous Chef, you will need previous experience of cooking with all fresh ingredients and have good all-round knowledge and experience. The Head Chef is looking for a Sous Chef who will actively take part in everything from ordering to on-going menu development and staff training
As Sous Chef you must display confidence and feel comfortable running service in the absence of the Head Chef, be able to lead by example and have the patience to help train and inspire junior chefs.
This position has Live In if required, but would also suit anyone living in the Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge or Mildenhall area with their own transport if required
Salary Upto £28,000 (depending upon experience)
