Great opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join the team pushing for 3 Rosettes and Michelin status, currently serving 30 – 40 covers midweek and 60 – 80 at the weekends
The style of the food is modern British using the best of local and seasonal ingredients cooked with modern and classic techniques but finished in modern clean presentation
The Head Chef is looking for a Chef de Partie who has a genuine passion for food and who gets excited cooking award winning food and who is keen to develop the menus further.
As Chef de Partie you will need to have good all-round skills, the Head Chef is happy to teach a trained chef some new skills if required. The kitchen standards are high but as it’s a fairly small team it doesn’t have the structure of the bigger brigades so you could easily find yourself getting involved in every section over time.
There is live in for this position for anyone needing to relocate or ideally applicants will need to live in the Wantage, Didcot, Abingdon, Swindon or possibly South Oxford area with their own transport if required.
Basic salary upto £19,000 (depending upon experience)
Share of service Charge (approx. £1,000)
Share of Tips (approx. £3,000)
