A great opportunity for a Demi Chef de Partie to join the team at this fantastic town centre restaurant
The menu is constantly evolving and is based around using fresh, local, seasonal produce. It offers a variety of menus throughout the day; with lunchtime and afternoons, serving a good quality but casual dining menu, with more refinement in the evening with a separate ‘chefs table’ private dining room where small groups are offered tasting menus in an open plan kitchen.
The Restaurant is part of a growing group of high end Pubs and Restaurants offering lots of career progression and future promotion opportunities.
The Head Chef is happy to train up somebody looking to get into a good kitchen as long as they have previous experience of working in a professional kitchen and are keen to learn new skills.
As Demi Chef de Partie you will be working as part of team, working alongside a Chef de Partie you will have a variety of daily tasks to complete assisting with a variety of daily prep, duties will include organising a section and cooking through service
This position would suit somebody living in the Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket, Cambridge or Mildenhall area with their own transport if required
Salary Upto £18,000 (depending upon experience)
