Junior Sous Chef Rosette Restaurant Oakham Rutland Upto 23K plus Tips and Live In
A great career opportunity for a Junior Sous Chef to join an expanding team under a Head Chef, who is about to take on a group role. The right Junior Sous Chef could be promoted to Sous chef within 3 – 6 months with an additional pay rise.
The Head Chef is looking for a Junior Sous Chef with previous experience of cooking with all fresh ingredients, ideally somebody that has worked in a rosette awarded kitchen previously, but this is not essential as long as standards are high and you have good attention to detail.
As Junior Sous Chef you will be working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen on a daily basis. As Junior Sous you will need to be able to cover any section and have the man management skills required to help train up Commis Chefs and Chef de Parties as part of their ongoing training.
Live in is available for this position if required but it may also suit anyone living in the Melton Mowbray, Oakham, Stamford or Uppingham area with their own transport
Base Salary of £22,000 – £23,000 (Depending upon experience)
