Senior Sous Chef required for this superb independent hotel and award winning restaurant serving Modern British style cuisine
This hotel has a great reputation and has a good following for the restaurant and private dining; the Head Chef is looking for somebody from at least a 1 rosette background to strengthen the team and help push towards a 4 day working week.
The hotel also has a good mix of casual dining, meetings, events and weddings and so is always busy, serving 80 – 100 covers through the week and upto 200 covers at the weekend
As Senior Sous Chef you will be expected to be a total professional being Calm, organised, and an excellent communicator whilst having the technical skills required to maintain standards and push on for new accolades.
You will be working closely with the Head Chef assisting with the daily management of the kitchen, Attending HOD meetings, running the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence, contributing menu idea and assisting with on-going menu development which will also include training and motivating juniors
This is a Live out Position (they may be able to help for a couple of weeks if somebody is relocating) but would ideally suit somebody living in the Huntingdon, Peterborough Cambridge Kettering or Bedford areas with their own transport.
Excellent Base Salary of upto £32,000 (depending upon experience)
Equal Share of Staff Tips (normally at least £2,000 – £3,000)
