Senior Sous Chef is required for this Stunning Country House Hotel and Award Winning Restaurant
As Senior Sous you will need previous experience of cooking with all fresh ingredients in a busy hotel environment to at least one rosette standard. You will need to be able to demonstrate a high level of organisational, cooking and presentation skills as you will be assisting with the restaurant, weddings and banqueting on a daily basis.
As Senior Sous Chef you will working closely with the Head Chef assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen on a daily basis, this will involve menu planning, training and organising teams, running the award winning restaurant, sending a private dinner or function.
As Senior Sous Chef you will need to have excellent man management skills helping to train and keep the team motivated ensuring that the Health and Hygiene policies are followed, you will also need to have solid financial knowledge and be able to cost dishes
This could be an excellent opportunity for a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef looking to take on more responsibility and develop their career further.
This is a live out position but they may be able to assist short term to allow somebody to relocate to the Maidstone Ashford or possibly Canterbury areas with their own transport.
