A Senior Sous Chef is required for this superb, Coastal Restaurant, serving amazing, local produce featuring lots of local seasonal fish
The Head Chef is looking for a talented Sous Chef who loves cooking with fresh ingredients, somebody who is creative and can keep a cool head through service.
As Senior Sous Chef you will be working alongside the Head Chef on a daily basis assuming responsibility on his days off, ensuring the high standards are maintained. He is looking for somebody to bounce ideas off and who will take an active role in the on-going menu development.
Applicants will need to live near St Ives, Hayle or Penzance, with their own transport as the property is located out of town.
This is a great employer and one of our oldest clients; we have worked for them for the last 18 years and watched them grow from a single property to a happy group of 3. One of our candidates worked for them for 7 ½ years and another for 6 so they do have a proven track record of looking after their staff.
Starting Salary of upto £28,000 – £30,000 (depending upon experience)
Share of generous tips normally a further £2,000 – £3,000 per year
