Sous Chef required for this Stunning Country House Hotel and Award Winning Restaurant located close to Bath and Bristol.
The Hotel is part of a small growing group of privately owned, high end hotels that have a well-deserved reputation for the quality of the food they serve, due in part to them growing a lot of their own produce and rearing livestock.
The Head Chef is looking for a Sous Chef with good all round skills ideally with previous experience in 2 Rosette or above style properties but this is not essential if you have excellent cooking skills and love using amazing produce.
As Sous Chef you will be considered a key member of the kitchen management and you will be working closely with the Head Chef, assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen, ensuring that all prep is organised, delegated and completed to the correct standards. You will also be expected to run service at least 2 days per week covering for days off and holidays etc.
Live in is available if required but would also suit anyone living in the Bath, Bristol, Warminster, Shepton Mallet or possibly Trowbridge area with their own transport if required.
Base Salary of up to £28,000
